The story has been told that ‘the boy’ had to make chocolate to lure ‘the girl’ from the Chocolate Country (Switzerland) to the land Down Under.. After years of research, studies and experimenting with chocolate by ‘the boy’ and lots and lots of taste testings by ‘the girl’, the Tasmanian Chocolate Studio was finally established in March 2006 by Simon and Yvonne Harris.
Having three children on their own, it was important to create a cafe where kids are welcome and mums and dads could meet and relax while the kids are occupied (even if only for a while!).
Today, we are a small family run business with the aim to bring you the quality of chocolate and meals that we ourselves love to eat!]
